Demi is a trained optometrist with a keen interest in anterior segment pathology, honed through two years of dedicated training with anterior segment specialised ophthalmologists. Over the past six years, she has been a lecturer at Flinders University, where she enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience with the next generation of optometrists. Concurrently, Demi serves as a Strategic Program and Policy Manager at Optometry Australia, leveraging her extensive experience in strategic projects and policy implementation to drive impactful initiatives that work towards a favourable future for optometry and optometrists in Australia.
