The Doctor of Optometry Student Conference (ODSC) is a student-led and student-run initiative.

"In my experience, I have found that patients find it difficult to open up about their general health, whether that be systemic conditions or mental health struggles. I would want the ability to allow every patient to feel comfortable openly sharing all aspects of their health. Eyes are not individual, but form an interconnected network in the body, and treating an individual rather than a pair of eyes would allow me to provide significantly better health outcomes to my patients."
